Facial Routine For All Skin Types

You’ve heard it time and time again; making the right choices for your skin care routine starts with knowing what your skin type is. Your particular skin type is typically an overarching factor in deciding what kind of skin care is best for your face and body.

Although each and every skin and the person it holds is impossibly unique, there are some standard skin care routines and a facial for all skin types in Singapore that everyone can benefit from, regardless of age or oil factor.

Daily Skin Care Routine for All Skin Types

From skin types to ages, chances are that if you’ve searched for skin care routines and facials, you’ve discovered a plethora of conflicting information. For every question you ask, there are twice as many answers; it can feel overwhelming to know where to start.

That’s why we’ve put together this simple guide of the fundamental rules of skin care that all dermatologists and experts agree on. No matter what your lifestyle is, following these key skin care routines will do wonders for any skin types.

Cleanse

Cleansing removes the dirt, oil, sweat, and other pollutants that your skin naturally collects throughout your day and night. In order to keep your pores clear and fresh, it’s recommended to cleanse your skin in the morning and in the evening.

Tone

When you first start your personalised skin care routine, toning may seem a little unnecessary but most experts agree that it’s a vital part of skin care and has beneficial effects on the skin. After you cleanse your skin of impurities, toner helps remove any residue that may have been left behind by your cleanser as well as any makeup or oils that your cleanser missed. As an added benefit, the toner helps minimise the appearance of pores and prepares your skin to absorb moisture. Additionally, some toners may be PH balancing and offer antiseptic properties.

Moisturise

In addition to making you feel great, moisturiser provides a protective layer to the skin that also locks in moisture and keeps your skin hydrated. This hydration gives your skin a smooth and luminous appearance.

Facials and Masks

As an added benefit to your skin, many people like to include a periodic facial into their skin routines. This can have a number of added benefits and give your skin an extra boost when it needs a little pampering. A facial is a way for your skin to get a lot of the things that it likes, all at one time in a concentrated setting.

Facials can range widely in ingredients, properties, and a variety of different intended uses. From locking in moisture and softness, reducing wrinkles, lightening sun spots, and evening out pigmentation, there are a variety of facials for all skin types available. Consider adding a facial for all skin types into your skin care routine once a week to give your skin the added lift that it needs.
