Get Rid Of Back Pain With Yoga

Back pain is a common problem for many people, it mainly affects those who have a sitting job. If you suffer from persistent back pain and find no permanent solution, give Yoga a try. It isn’t just an exercise, but an effective cure of many ailments. Yoga has been practiced by millions of people around the world for a long time and it works. This blog explores five Yoga poses which are useful in  relieving back pain.

Cobra Pose – Cobra Pose is especially beneficial for your spine. It alleviates the stress of your back and makes it flexible. This posture is similar to a snake with a raised hood that’s why it is named as Cobra pose. You simply need to lie on your stomach keeping both legs together while placing the your palms on the ground. With a deep breath gradually raise your head chest and stomach while your navel is still touching the floor. Stay in the pose as long as you are comfortable and then go back to the previous position and relax. The regular practice of Cobra pose strengthens your back, chest, and shoulders.

Downward Facing Dog – It is a simple yet effective remedy for your back pain. Anyone even a child can do this pose with ease. Down Dog is an inverted V Shape posture, you rest your hands and feet firmly on the ground raising your waist. It improves blood circulation, increases the flexibility and alleviates back pain. This Yoga posture reverses energy flow and structure of your body. In place of the spine, you put the whole weight of the body on your hand and feet exerting more pressure on your back. It promotes flexibility and strength in your body.

Triangle Pose – Triangle Pose is different from above stated postures. It involves moving your body completely from one end to other. You need to strike a body balance in this pose so keep your eyes open. Stand keeping a wide gap between your legs, touch you right foot with the right hand while your left hand pointing towards the sky. Stay in this position for few seconds and then do the same thing with your left hand. Initially, you may find it difficult to do, but gradually it will become easy. The main purpose of this pose is to stretch your body from various angles. It reduces back pain and strengthens arms, legs, and chest.

Pigeon Posture – It is an intense Yoga pose which most people love to ignore, but it works well. The Pigeon Pose unwraps your hip and groin muscles and relieves sciatic nerve stress and lower back pain. Furthermore, it is helpful in improving your digestion and immunity. Sit in a comfortable position then slide your left leg to the back of your body and keep other crossed. Bend the upper part of your body over the crossed leg and touch the ground with your hands. It is tough pose so don’t force yourself too much. You will master it gradually over a period of time.

Yoga is trusted by millions of people across the world. It is effective in healing pain and mitigating the effects of chronic diseases. If you follow above-mentioned postures, you will see an improvement in your health. Apart from good health you can consider pursuing Yoga Alliance Teacher Training India for a exciting and fulfilling career in Yoga training.
