It is impossible to understate the importance and value of the major leaps forward made by the modern medical community today.
To compare where we are as a global medical community today with where we were just 50 short years ago is not at all dissimilar from comparing where we are today with where we were 200 years or more ago!
The major leaps forward have completely transformed the world of modern medicine, giving more and more access to high-tech and innovative medical solutions to more people than ever before – and we as a global community are just getting started.
Some countries around the world, however, are embracing all that new modern medical technology has to offer faster and more wholeheartedly than others and the people of Singapore are definitely leading the charge in that department.
Singapore embraces the digital health revolution
Singapore has always had a serious focus on building up and building out their infrastructure and making sure that they are one of – if not THE – most forward thinking country on the planet. This focus has helped them really embrace everything that modern medicine in the digital health revolution has to offer more than others, and they continue to make heavy investments and smart partnerships with the medical community around the world to offer the best healthcare available.
Recent developments from the Singapore government, a handful of medical companies based in Singapore, and major medical organizations around the world are leading to a significant investment in the creation and commercialization of new “connected” digital health solutions.
Recognizing that doctors that are informed and have access to as much information about a particular patient and their medical history are much more likely to make a correct diagnosis right off the bat, and are much more likely to provide the right medical solution for a particular need immediately, investments in connected digital health solutions that provide patient access and history effortlessly are a huge leap forward.
Working together with the CXA Group, the EDBI, and Royal Phillips to help facilitate these kinds of digital tools and connected data libraries for the medical community in Singapore is a major new initiative put forth by this country, and it’s one that is already paying off significantly.
Singapore was already considered to have some of the very best medical facilities on the planet, but now thanks to the major new investments in digital cloud data solutions, digital medical intervention technology, and heavy investments into the rapid prototyping and commercialization of new medical breakthroughs they have even better care than they had previously.
As we highlighted above, a lot of this is thanks to the firm commitment that Singapore and its government has always had to its citizenry. Looking to build infrastructure – not just physical infrastructure, but medical, technological, and business infrastructure as well – to support their citizens has always been a priority number one.
As one of the most connected locations on the planet, it shouldn’t come as any surprise to anyone that Singapore is leading the charge when it comes to the new digital health revolution.
