The Food That Care: The Revolution of The Fork Vegan

A diet of plant foods can save your life! This is the message that the book “The revolution of the fork Vegan” wants to launch, which is not mere theory, but more than 200 pages which make up recipes, testimonies, medical advice. Let’s find out what it is!

Not everything is healthy

The great greek physician Hippocrates said, “Let food be your medicine and your medicine be your food.” When you are hurt, you generally seek remedies in addition, products that can be overloaded to those we already have in the body to change the state of things. Chemical medicines in fact. This is what generally makes available the Western tradition of care. But if you thought to take away rather than put it? The vegan revolution of the fork is a text that is based on this principle. On foundations that come from the east and from veganism, inviting you to choose with awareness what brings you to the mouth, a choice that aims to seek what is fresh, vegetable, wholemeal, a choice that invites you to practice fasting, if necessary . In short, to seek balance in the body due to its medical first: food. This is the message of a book written by many hands, closely related to the documentary “Forks Over Knives”, American film, directed in 2011 by independent filmmaker Lee Fulkerson. It is an invitation to remake their ability to choose food, an invitation that wants to make it clear how often bad habits hard to leave behind, media influences and more are things that do not go for anything to benefit the health of individuals, but they serve only to inflate portfolios of industrial and doctors! It is a suggestion to vary the taste, to be eclectic, curious, eager to experience a way of eating with a view being sought for themselves and also for the Planet. Apparently in fact, even the most innocuous, like simple breakfast cereal, for example, can be fraught with difficulties and dangerous elements, we are able to notice it?

Loving yourself is to change
Change your eating habits you can. You can break with tradition and the bad with the intake of heavy foods, processed, fatty, you can think of adopting healthy food, clean, fresh, maybe we learn to grow with our hands that enter the body with joy  “Change your eating habits – whether it’s on the road to a new plant-based diet, or simply reduce the consumption of meat and dairy products, and add more foods of plant origin, or perhaps even improve their habits of oils obtained by eliminating procedures industrial – requires perseverance and commitment. “This is what the authors write. As often happens, sometimes it is more difficult to plan, think, plan things to implement them practically. Not everything that may at first seem impossible in reality it is impossible! To begin to really love each other, to cure ourselves with the food we can, for example, start with replacing the refined bread with wholemeal bread without salt, change the jam made with sugar with sugar-free jam, maybe homemade. Just choose to make the pie without using butter, putting instead of the oil. A breakfast with lots of fruit smoothies and vegetables, water used for cooking, vegetable broth, lemon juice, instead of heated fat, consume more whole foods and less refined ones. Finally, check that your pantry is full of spices! Here is just a little tip.

The recipes of the revolution
Here’s the third part of the book takes us into the heart of the matter, offering as many as 125 vegan recipes ranging from oat porridge with fruit, oats and blueberries to muffins, smoothies, baked potatoes in various ways, pea guacamole, mousse aubergines, cream of beans, and again as the tastiness fusion yamadillas, soups, creams and soups, salads for every taste, like the delicious quinoa salad with currants, and all sorts of alternative seasonings, such as tofu mayonnaise. And again, puddings, cookies, brownies and bars crisp. The chefs who have collaborated on the book have undertaken to draw up healthy and tasty vegan recipes that have nothing to envy to the old less healthy dishes. Also in the text are illuminating explanations of important scholars, including ildottor Neal Barnard, Dr. John McDougall, Rip Esselstyn, and many others. Do not miss the first-person experiences, stories and success stories of people who have adopted a vegan diet, as San’Dera Prude, who no longer need to take medication for diabetes, has lost weight and feels beautifully. In short, there are millions of men and women who have not been afraid to change power to improve the quality of their lives. They decided to follow a diet that would help them to live in full health, prevent diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, cancer, arthritis, Alzheimer’s and much more.
